CNEP blocks (French Trade Union Chamber of Philatelic Dealers and Experts).

C.N.E.P. blocks were first issued in 1980 for philatelic events organised by the French Chamber of Philatelic Dealers and Experts or events in which the Chamber participated. These include provincial exhibitions held in a different city each year, the Autumn Philatelic Exhibition held in Paris at the beginning of November, as well as major national events (such as the Salon du Timbre de France) and international events (such as the Philexfrance world exhibitions). They are valid for postage, but are not in common use, which makes CNEP blocks almost exclusively philatelic and therefore more valuable. These events are listed and cited by all catalogue publishers and have their place in the albums of major brands. Whether new or used, CNEP blocks are very popular with stamp collectors.
